Product Review: Soap & Glory The Righteous Butter Body Butter

Soap & Glory's The Righteous Butter is a product that I've picked a few cheap travel sized pots up of if I've been going somewhere, but up until now I have never purchased a full size tub of. For about a year and a half I have been on the hunt for the perfect body butter that I can keep on coming back to, and when I spied this yet again on the Sephora website (not that I spend most of my evenings on there, or anything!) I wondered if it might just be 'the one'. After all, a big tub of body butter is a pretty big commitment to use it till its gone!

Like Soap & Glory's Hand Food hand cream The Righteous Butter is heavily perfumed with the same Miss Dior-like 'pink' fragrance, which lingers on your skin for a very long time after use. As a body butter, this thick cream is really moisturising and absorbs really quickly, and really well, much better than other drugstore brands I've tried (yes, to my American readers I know we buy Soap & Glory products in Sephora which hardly makes them drugstore, but in the UK we buy Soap & Glory primarily at Boots, which is a drugstore), which I think is why I keep on buying it. I really like, and would really recommend this product. 

So, will The Righteous Butter be taking its place as my go to body butter, or will I be continuing my search? I do like this product, and I do keep buying it if I'm stuck for ideas as to which body butter to buy next, but there is a reason I keep on looking. If you are after something with a nice, long lasting fragrance which is really good value this is the product you're looking for; I just think I'm looking for something a little more refined.
