It is rare that I actually treat myself to lipsticks; I have loads as press samples or from Clinique Bonus Time, but it really takes a pretty amazing colour for me to fork out for a shade. I'm a massive fan of Mac lipsticks, such great quality for a great value. My favourite everyday shade is 'Brave', and for a deep Winter red I'm also totally in love with 'Captive'. Usually I replace these when I use them up but I never really venture out into any other shades, and usually never 'fashion' colours.
This fantastically bright pink really caught my eye as I was walking past the Mac counter in Fenwick in Canterbury last month, and after a bit of humming and harring I ended up picking it up in the Mac Store off Carnaby Street a few weeks later. The bright fluorescent, and not to mention pink nature of the lipstick is not what I usually go for, but I love how it has been adding a bit of a kick when I'm wearing a black dress or all navy blue and white.
