Product Review: L'Occitane Angelica Exfoliating Gel

Up there with Clinique, L'Occitane is one of my most trusted skincare brands. When I went to try their new Angelica Exfoliating Gel is was lucky that I had this fact in my mind; as it is an usual and peculiar feeling product to use, but yields fantastic and refreshing results making it the perfect Summer wash product. My skin was so radient (and clear) the next morning when I got ready to greet the days batch of guests I was happy not to put on any makeup at all; I usually at least reach for a little concealer!

L'Occitane Angelica Exfoliating Gel c/o L'Occitane: £17

It comes out the tube as what you'd expect from your average exfoliating face wash, but when you rub it into your face it has a light lather, but the exfoliating pieces are a bit like jelly, and reel odd under your fingers. I think this is actually really good, because while some exfoliators have rough particles which I don't think can be very kind for your skin, this gel exfoliates really well and is really gentle to boot. It also smells nice, fresh and mild. To me, angelica was always the candied green stuff you use to decorate cakes, but L'Occitane has put together a great page about it, including its benefits for your skin.

Have any of you tried anything from L'Occitane's Angelica range yet? Any thoughts on the products?
